Achica Luxury goods for affordable prices
The thing I like about sales is getting great items at cheap prices but I left the house and all the pushing around can be a pain.
During London Fashion Week I revived some info about Achica and decided to give it a little look see since Christmas is soon approaching.
Achica is a members only luxury lifestyle website which offers members access to private sales of luxury brands at stupidly low prices!
There are new offers 6 days a week featuring everything from kitchen utensils to high-end holidays and prices start from as little as £5.
The only downside is once its gone its gone so you have to get in there quick, but doesn’t that a make your victory even sweeter?
I brought The Scottish Soapworks Lavender Pamper Set for my self as a “well done for surviving London Fashion Week gift”
The set includes:
Set includes:
1 x 140g Soap bar
1 x 100ml Bubble bath
1 x 30g Hand and body cream
1 x 15g Lip balm
1 x 140g Soap bar
1 x 100ml Bubble bath
1 x 30g Hand and body cream
1 x 15g Lip balm
and at £9.99 I don’t have to feel guilty about indulging myself.

London Fashion Week SS13 Day Two Part Deuxe
While
putting my phone on charge in the Press Lounge we decided to go and visit the
Rimmel London’s exclusive Blogging suite.
I was meant
to visit the suite last season but with all the running up and down I was doing
it totally slipped my mind.
But today I
was determined and ended up being so glad that I went.
The suite
was held in a swank hotel and there were Makeup artists, and nail artist on
hand offering beauty treatments.
Sherry's Nails
There was
also lovely food and champagne and the most exciting part....
Goodie Bags!!
As I had a
bit of time between shows I had a bite to eat, had my make up touched up and
chatted with the make-up artists and some other bloggers.
Classy lol
I to say
that I was so impressed with the Rimmel goodie bags but came to the realization
that along with the products I received from MAC storing them would be a
madness and realistic action would have to be taken.
As my next
show was at the Vauxhall Fashion Scout in Covent Garden I decided deviate from
my entourage and make a quick detour to MUJU to get this Kardashians
style Acrylic Box with 2 Drawers and Flip-Top Lid
(I have wanted this for AGES!!)
I also picked up a cup
thingy for my eye pencils.
I also quickly popped my head in
to the Russell and Bromley to say hi and use the loos before legging it to VFS
to try and catch my show.
Unfortunately time was not on my
side so I went to a local cafe for a spot of tea while I waited for my friends
to come out.
Waiting for my friends to some out and play with me
Of course when they came out they
told me how great the show was.
Oh well my all my cosmetics are
going to be looking good in my new acrylic boxes tonight.
Looking good but I still need more storage...Haven't even unpacked my new products yet!
London Fashion Week SS13 Day Two
Day Two of London fashion week So far so good
Managed to paint my nails on the train with out covering myself in bight orange Leighton Denny
nail polish
Missed my early train so I had to leg it to my MAC appointment (Honestly always miss my train)
Got there just in time
Me before my MAC make over
I was pleased when the Make up Sarah Hastings told me my make up looked good already but I wanted it better
Finished look
Loved my makeover sooo much I had to make a video!
Missed the Ones To Watch showcase which was a bit disapointing but I will live.
Off to the Rimmel London Gifting suite!!!!
Chao for now Fashion waits for no man!!
Oh and if you see me say hi!
Antoni and Alison New Work SS13 collection
I was happy get an invite to this
show as I really enjoyed their collection last season.
I must admit I got the wrong end of
the stick when I read the name of the collection
NEW WORK
"Great I need to update my work
image" I thought thinking I was going to see a work wear inspired
collection
LOL silly rabbit
The name of the collection was
influenced by the designers celebrating their 25th anniversary and their desire
to continue coming up with innovative creative pieces or "New Work"
The collection was a great start to a
gloomy Friday morning.
Guests were treated to a drum band
which played throughout the show which consisted of
Shift dresses in various lengths and
styles floating down the catwalk
adorned with mouth watering colourful prints
all hand painted in the following mediums:
Painted brush marks
Mixed acrylics
Ink drawings
Dark abstracts
Spray can gestures
Charcoal smudges on cartridge paper
sharp HB pencil lines
Necessary sparkle and gold leaf
Black felt tip pen
I absolutely loved this collection as
I found it to be very wearable and the colours fun and interesting

For their actual birthday, Friday
19th October 2012 the Victoria Albert Museum have asked Antoni and Alison to
give a one off lecture about their work. This will be the only time that they
offer an explanation about their work so I hope I am able to attend.
London Fashion Week Day One
Gloomy day for fashion, with threats
of rain but who cares its London Fashion Week!
Despite all my prep last night I
manage to forget to charge my camera DOH!! oh wells I will take as much pics as
I can while I can.
I also brought the wrong kind of
memory card to use on the press laptops :(
Well there is something I can do
about that. As soon as I get a free period I intend to pop to the shops to buy
a new one.
I will try to do as much updates as I
can throughout the week but until I cop an SD card hey will be a bit boring and
without pictures.
Got through registration without a
hitch however I noticed a few differences this year such as there are no longer
computers for press to use in the registration area (The few in the press
lounge have issues)
My 1st show of the day was Antoni and
Alison and was titled New Work.
I love the cute little titles they
use.
Last season it was Models walking up
and down in dresses.
